Ah yes, Any Day Happy Day, my first foray into the wondrous world of web comicry. Before this, my experiences drawing comics were limited to unimaginably shitty comics drawn in study hall freshman year of High Skool about my friend Chris getting drunk and being attacked by videogame characters, and a 24 hour comic I made in 2000 about some dudes trapped in some kind of dream bubble or something. For some reason, in september of 2001 I decided to try and make an ongoing strip. As you are about to see, I had no idea what I was doing. I seriously can't even believe how bad the early ADHD strips are. I don't even know what I was thinking about. This comic started out as a joke strip, which was my first mistake, because I'm not remarkably funny (at least as a writer, I hear I can be quite comical when I've had too much to drink). Also, most of the 'jokes' are complete inside jokes that only my friends would get, or are so obscure that no one would get them whatsoever. Towards the end of the third chapter, my compulsion to write about bad dreams and alternate worlds and (HURR) love began to take hold, and well, y'll see when you get there. This presentation of the first three chapters of Any Day Happy Day features commentary and some added stuff like chapter title pages and a re-inserted missing scene which originally ran in someone else's webcomic. have fun.
